• Serve as a member of the Front-End Platform Team, RnB.
• Maintain and contribute to the Salesloft Starlight Design System.
  • Implement and update components built with React, Styled Components, & TypeScript.
  • Design and update APIs to optimize developer experience, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Write and maintain integration & end-to-end test suites.
  • Maintain the Starlight Documentation Website.
  • Consult with other delivery teams regarding the usage of Starlight components.
• Participate in regular peer code reviews.
• Conduct technical and peer interviews.
• Participate in and occasionally lead Agile ceremonies:
  • Standup: assess task status for each team member
  • Discovery: conduct open-ended discussions about current or forthcoming initiatives
  • Backlog grooming: identify and refine Jira cards for future sprints.
  • Retrospective: discuss achievements and challenges of the current sprint.
  • Sprint planning: identify tasks for forthcoming sprints.

Personnel Management

• Conduct weekly one-on-ones with 5 direct reports.
• Help direct reports to identify and explore areas for growth.
• Design and apply growth plans to improve performance.
• Host weekly Office Hours for mentoring junior engineers.

Hiring

• Review applications to the front-end engineering team.
• Conduct interviews with candidates to assess experience level, culture fit, and career goals.
• Discuss with engineering leadership to identify the best candidate for the team.

Engineering Leadership

• Work with engineering leadership to define and execute team goals.
• Design & implement processes to improve engineering quality & velocity.
• Host biweekly Show and Tell meetings to celebrate and share engineering accomplishments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver exceptional web experiences across a variety of browsers and devices.
• Implement, test, and refactor code across numerous codebases to ensure modularity, maintainability, and performance.
• Maintain and expand Nebo's Front-End Component Library.
• Onboard new engineers through shadowing and other training exercises
